To thoroughly implement quality management system standards and enhance the system application capabilities of grassroots management personnel, on June 20, 2025, HCB Battery’s Safety and Environmental Protection Center meticulously planned and hosted the Integrated Management System Knowledge Contest. Six team leader representative crews from Primary Lithium Division, Lithium-ion Division, Pack Department, and Quality Department competed on the same stage, delivering an outstanding comprehensive contest of knowledge and team collaboration.
This is a comprehensive assessment for the participants’ depth of understanding of system standards and their ability to apply knowledge in practice. Various set-up of games such as “mandatory questions” “quick response questions” and “scenario analysis questions” are used to thoroughly evaluate the contestants’ level of theoretical knowledge and real-time adaptability.
Team leaders from various workshops, leveraging their solid knowledge of the management system and extensive on-site management experience, responded calmly and actively engaged in the competition. Particularly in the scenario simulation segment, contestants proposed solutions compliant with system requirements for typical situations such as the "12 Prohibitions and 10 Forbidden Red Lines", "Emergency Environmental Incident Response", and "Safety Protection Device Failure", fully demonstrating frontline managers' exceptional ability to integrate standards into practice.
After multiple intense rounds of competition, the Quality Department team secured the championship by their solid knowledge reserve, sincere teamwork, consistent performance under pressure, and seamless coordination. The PACK Department team was awarded second prize, while the Primary Lithium Division and Lithium-ion Division teams jointly ranked as third prize.
At the award ceremony, Mr Ruan, General Manager of HCB Battery emphasized: "Team Leaders are the pivotal link in the implementation of the management system.' This contest not only assessed the system literacy of grassroots managers but also reinforced the responsibility of all employees to 'know the standards, apply the standards, and adhere to the standards,' thereby enable strong momentum into the continuous improvement of product quality, ensuring production safety, and advancing green manufacturing!"
This knowledge contest promoted learning through competition, enabling participants to translate their knowledge into action and contribute their wisdom and efforts to HCB Battery’s pursuit of standardization, high quality, and sustainable development. Going forward, HCB Battery will persist in conducting multi-tiered and diverse system training and practical initiatives, positioning the management system as a robust engine to safeguard high-quality production and operations, thus laying a solid foundation for setting industry benchmarks and realizing high-quality sustainable development.
